2vcard software package provides perl script to convert an addressbook to VCARD file format, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install 2vcard
2vcard is installed in your system.
Make ensure the 2vcard package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep 2vcard *
You will get with 2vcard package name, version, architecture and description in a table
